Ascension Anglican Church of Houston (AAC) is a Christ-centered, Bible-believing congregation within the global Anglican Communion, established in 2024 through the guidance and inspiration of the Holy Spirit. We are proudly under the ecclesiastical oversight of the Church of Nigeria North America Mission (CONNAM)—a missionary initiative of the Church of Nigeria (Anglican Communion) committed to upholding orthodox Anglican faith and practice in North America.
AAC represents a vibrant expression of Anglican life, rooted in Scripture, anchored in historic Christian doctrine, and open to the transformative work of the Holy Spirit. Our mission is to proclaim the Gospel of Jesus Christ boldly and faithfully, making disciples and serving both our local community and the wider world.
We are committed to proclaiming the Gospel of Jesus Christ and raising devoted followers through teaching, mentoring, and life-on-life discipleship. Our goal is to make and mature disciples who live out their faith with passion and purpose.
Our worship blends Anglican liturgy with Spirit-filled expression. We gather to glorify God through Scripture, praise, prayer, and Holy Communion, worshipping in Spirit and in truth.
We are a loving and diverse church family committed to building strong, Christ-centered relationships. Through fellowship and mutual care, we walk together in faith, unity, and service.
We support families and nurture children in the Christian faith through age-appropriate teaching, discipline, and spiritual development. Our goal is to raise a generation rooted in biblical truth.
